The Town of Palm Beach is replacing one of its oldest walls. The Midtown Beach seawall runs 2,715 feet from north of Royal Palm Way to south of Gulfstream Road. It was built in the 1920s, and the town's public works director called it near the end of its service life. A 2022 plan budgeted about $18.5 million to rebuild it higher, following the town's Level Up Palm Beach resiliency report.
